The Red Network is a network within People Before Profit and we are about empowering a new generation of working class people to fight for socialism We want to help working people to give a lead - in their workplace and in their community. We can take on the Golden Circle and build a socialist Ireland if we fight for it and argue for it every single day.

Our Philosophy

We understand that life is tough for all working people - whether you're a blue collar worker on a precarious contract or a white collar worker slaving for a tech giant. Sometimes people know the system is wrong but don't have the confidence to take on the powerful - whether that's by protesting or standing up in front of your workmates and arguing a point of view. We want to equip you with all the tools you need to give a lead. If you stand up, you will inspire others to stand up too. That's what makes us different. We believe in your potential to be a leader. We are part of People Before Profit because we believe that uniting the socialist left is vital if we want to inspire more people to fight back - with 4 TDS, 1 MLA, several councillors and a presence in working class communities North and South PBP can really help to shape the struggles to come. We oppose all division between working class and oppressed people - racism and sexism are poison and used by the powerful to divide our ranks. We want a united people to come together and fight for James Connolly's vision of a 32 county socialist republic. It will take a people powered revolution to get the change we need - like the water movement, with tens of thousands on the streets but accompanied by strike actions. It's a long path to that goal - we know that. But there's no other way to escape from the endless cycle of corruption and cover up
