Pharmacy Boss Is Behind Wexford Mass Eviction
5 March 2026
Tenants of the Hazelwood Estate in Wexford held a meeting on Sunday in the local hall to discuss their options after 36 households were given eviction notices by Patchflow Limited.
One of those being evicted is Ann Marie Lamb, a single mother of two who has a child with additional needs, she said: “There are 36 households in total facing this situation and behind every one of those houses is a real family trying to figure out what happens next.”
I went through the trauma of resisting a mass eviction at Tathony House.
But this is all in a days business for the Hazelwood landlords. The directors of Patchflow Ltd are Martin Sinnott and pharmacy boss Leonie Grant. Sinnott is a wealthy property developer. Grant, a former Irish hockey international, is the owner of Grants Pharmacy Group which has 8 locations across Wexford, Wicklow and Carlow.
Leonie Grant is listed as a director for 30 companies as of early 2026. She’s also connected politically. In May 2022, Fine Gael Minister Simon Harris personally opened the new Grants Pharmacy in Bray, Co. Wicklow. During the event, he publicly praised Grant.
In 2018, Paul Kehoe Fine Gael TD and former Government Chief Whip officially opened Grant’s premises in Enniscorthy. Kehoe credited the town’s positive direction to the “hard work and endeavour” of business people like Grant and her husband, Martin Sinnott.
Evicting 100 people into homelessness is “hard work” and “endeavour!”
For most workers in Ireland your boss is going to be Irish and your landlord most of the time too. The Irish boss and landlord class have been experts at hiding themselves for decades.
Grant was praised on social media for her support for flood relief work in Enniscorthy but charity is just a mask these parasites wear to cover their exploitation of workers and tenants. One commenter said she should “run the country!”
Tell that to the 100 families going through sleepless nights worrying about their future now that they’ve been handed eviction notices and two days before the rules changed. That’s sick!
We already have enough bosses and landlords running this country. That’s why it’s in the mess it’s in. We need to clear them out and put working class people in the driving seat of a planned economy. To get that it will take a rebellion.
